Empath

A lot of people don't know what an empath is. When people have heard it, they usually associate it with witchcraft.  If you search, "What does it mean to be an empath?" This is what you can find under the tab of questions that always pop up on google.

"Empaths are highly sensitive individuals, who have a keen ability to sense what people around them are thinking and feeling. Psychologists may use the term empath to describe a person that experiences a great deal of empathy, often to the point of taking the pain of others at their own expense."

but the dictionary defines it as follows, which is why some people only know it as relating to witchcraft.

Dictionary definition: "(chiefly in science fiction) a person with the paranormal ability to apprehend the mental or emotional state of another individual."

It's not easy being an empath. All I'm saying is take it easy on us. We do care about everything you have to tell us, but give it in small doses.
